“Thank you so much to everyone for making me feel safe, comfortable and at ease. I’ve been in despair about my situation, and all of the volunteers were amazing, helpful and encouraging. I’m leaving with a renewed hope for the future.”

SDVLP CLIENT

“I volunteer at SDVLP because I can apply my legal skills directly to people who need it most. I chose the Guardianship Clinic because I have the utmost respect for those willing to parent children who are not their own, but that desperately need a parent in their life.”

Debbie Huennekens, LEGAL VOLUNTEER

“This service is a godsend. Everyone here is compassionate, knowledgeable, and they get the job done.”

GUARDIANSHIP CLIENT

“At a time when confusion makes it hard to focus, the straightforward explanations and instructions I received at the clinic made an incredibly difficult circumstance possible to overcome.”

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CLIENT

“I was hours away from losing my home. The volunteers and staff helped me with paperwork that I never in a million years could have prepared in time. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You literally kept a roof over my head. You folks are heroes.”
