Domestic Violence

If you are a victim of domestic violence and need assistance in completing and filing restraining orders or need related legal relief or referrals to social support agencies and shelters, come to one of our clinics listed below. (Please note: You must file your case in the area in which you live, so please attend the clinic closest to where you live.) Financial eligibility requirements are not imposed and assistance is provided on a walk-in basis.

***Please Note: If you already have a family law matter pending in court, your domestic violence case must be handled with that existing case. Please call 235-5656 extension 116 for assistance.

Family Justice Center Collaborative

The Domestic Violence Justice Center combines the resources of the City Attorney's Office, San Diego Police Department, City of San Diego and numerous public and private agencies, to provide comprehensive services in a centralized location to domestic violence victims. SDVLP participates as a service provider in representing victims at the restraining order hearing and assisting in obtaining and enforcing custody, support and restraining orders. Clients must meet SDVLP's financial eligibility criteria. Services are provided on an appointment basis Monday through Friday.
